Kealakekua Bay Tours Update

After a short hiatus, we are excited to announce that Kona Boys are again offering Kayak Tours in Kealakekua Bay.

This magical tour has been our favorite since the beginning and for good reason.  Kealakekua Bay is the most protected deep water bay in the Hawaiian islands and the snorkeling area near Captain Cook‘s monument is among the most pristine on the planet.

Our tours include all of the gear you’ll need for a day of kayaking and snorkeling and our guides are experienced lifeguards with exceptional knowledge of the area and Aloha to spare.  We are offering group and private tours.  Contact the shop for more information, or email us at info@konaboys.com.

Reminder,  if you are not participating in a guided tour and you would like to land on the Captain Cook Monument side of Kealakekua Bay, you will need to get a landing permit.  The application for the permit is available here.

If you do not have a permit you are still allowed to kayak and snorkel in Kealakekua Bay, however you will have to snorkel from the kayak and keep the boat under your control.  If you have any questions regarding the rules, feel free to contact Kona Boys.
