Kona Boys Helps in ‘Korean Infinite Challenge in Hawaii’

Kona Boys Helps in ‘Korean Infinite Challenge in Hawaii’
Kona Boys on Infinite Challenge

Oh yeah, we’re huge in Korea.

A few months ago Kona Boys was stoked when we were able to help out with one of Korea’s most popular reality television shows, “Infinite Challenge.”

The episode was filmed entirely on location and involved a fairly large amount of production. Teams of competitors raced from clue to clue while experiencing several local activities, foods, and sites.

One of the team challenges was to paddle a wa’a (outrigger canoe) from Kamakahonu Bay in front of King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel to one of our Kona Boys team members waiting in Kailua-Kona Bay and back again. Upon completion, Kona Boys beach boy Brock handed them their next clue and shared some aloha.

Mostly, we just think it’s fun to watch.

Thanks to Kona Boys co-owner Frank Carpenter for helping set it up. Thanks also to Kai ‘Ehitu for the use of their wa’a and to the Infinite Challenge production crew and staff.
